In 1986, ASC was established as a multinational company with its headquarters in Jakarta. In 1989, started operation as its state-of-the-art production complex in Banten province. Over the years, the complex has expanded several times, substantially increasing production capacity. Total investment now stands at USD 1.6 billion. By focusing on chemical and industrial markets, ASC has the capacity to produce Caustic Soda (NaOH), Ethylene Dichloride (EDC), Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Hydrochloric Acid (HCI) and Sodium Hypochlorite (NaCIO). ASC's shareholders are AGC Inc. (Formerly Asahi Glass Company), PT Rodamas (Indonesia), Benny Suherman (Indonesia), and Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan. ASC has three plants built on 91 hectares in Cilegon, Banten in Indonesia. Operated by a distributed control system, these plants are not only highly efficient but also with high-quality standards. Commited to downsize the operation cost as well as carbon emissions. Constantly develops and seeks for improvements by using the latest technology. In the first process, which consists of three trains, Caustic Soda is produced. The derivative products include: Chlorine Gas, Hydrogen, Hydrochloric Acid solution and Sodium Hypochlorite solution. The second process produces Vinyl Chloride Monomer as a raw material for production of PVC. This plant consists of two trains. Chlorine Gas, which is generated in the Chlor Alkali plant, reacts with Ethylene to produce Ethylene Dichloride; this is then cracked into VCM. The third process, made up of three trains, produces Polyvinyl Chloride, and it is at this stage that VCM is polymerized into PVC.

What You’ll Do:

Coordinate & Support Systems – Oversee system development and support activities to ensure seamless performance across all applications.
Manage Partners Effectively – Control and monitor business partner activities to align with IT and business objectives.
Vendor & Supplier Collaboration – Maintain strong coordination and communication with vendors and suppliers.
Plan & Control IT Budget – Prepare and manage IT operational expenses, development Capex, and ensure accurate cost reporting.
Translate Needs into Action – Develop business requirements, functional specifications, and technology roadmaps.
Lead Testing Phases – Drive UAT and SIT processes with users, ensuring issues are addressed quickly and effectively.
Architect for Scalability – Evaluate system architecture options considering performance, cost, and long-term scalability.
Support Transformation Initiatives – Contribute to change programs by preparing technical plans aligned with enterprise and solution standards.
SAP Administration & Optimization – Manage SAP system landscapes, monitor performance, apply patches/upgrades, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
Infrastructure & Networking Management – Oversee server, storage, network, and cloud environments to ensure reliable operations, security, and optimal connectivity across business applications.

What We’re Looking For:

Educational Background – Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
Extensive Experience – Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Communication Skills – Proficient in both written and spoken English.

A year contract based, with an opportunity to become permanent employees based on performance.
